Ultimate Nerd Status

So much to say about this week.  I'll apologize upfront for spending way too much time talking about Chemistry.   Other than Ethan, organic chemistry (has become) my life!  I've gone back to living at the library and spending endless hours at the library.  Lucky for me, I now have a very handsome (and soon to be birthday boy) who comes with me ... for hours.
Literally...
H.O.U.R.S.
he sacrificed to be at the hbll with me all day last Saturday as well as yesterday.
aww, true love. :)

I've taken classes during spring or summer term before, but nothing compares to this term.  Each week there is a homework assignment due, at least two quizzes per week and a test bi-weekly.
It's such a pill.
Tomorrow, we have our second test and this week has been nothing but studying the books and oxidation/reduction reactions.
To finish off the weekend, I've achieved the ultimate nerd status and am currently watching "Nova: Hunting the elements." on Netflix's.  I don't subscribe to homework Sunday's but due to the nature of spring term, it's all I got. So grab a bowl of cereal and learn about the world made of chemistry.
Yum.
I never expected to say that I like it! Both Ethan and I enjoy learning how things work and figuring out new things.   This documentary shows some cool stuff that you would only find on a chemistry video.  (0.0) Bring me back to the fifth grade science fair.  Good times.

At the end of the day, we still remember to have fun.
This past week we've achieved our goals and celebrated by having dinner at Macaroni Grill. We also ventured up to Squaw Peak and caught the sunset at the perfect time. (and no, we didn't not make out) Last night my awesome husband went on a spontaneous 10:30pm run.  We also spent some time learning about Hinduism at the Hare Krishna temple in Spanish Fork (Also another homework assignment, but interesting nonetheless). Stay tuned because birthday week is here and it's all about Ethan this week! :) My all-time favorite subject! Ever!!

Here are some pics from the week.

You can't see it very well but there was a beautiful pink tint reflecting from the Sunset.

This was also a spontaneous trip up the mountain, thus I forgot our camera.
Here, we provide you with our high quality I-Phone pictures ;P

Happy Sunday
