Ethan and I met in 2012 in a place we called Heaven aka ChiangMai. Ethan was on his last few transfers of his mission and I had just got to country. After my two months of training was over I moved to an area in Bangkok and Ethan stayed and finished in Chiang Mai.
In the year that I served, Ethan wrote me ... often! And I, well ... let just say wrote him a handful of times. When the time came for me to go home, I knew Ethan wanted to date and I being the fresh RM was scared of boys. I decided that Ethan and I would be friends and then maybe we would date. More friend zone and more "dating". On September 11, 2013 we made it official! Personally, God told me he had placed all my ducks in a row for me when we talked in the Salt Lake Temple the weekend before and Ethan was definitely in the picture.
Right from the start we both new where it was going to end up. Technically, if you ask Ethan he knew way back in 2012! Long story short, we fell in love; he asked me too marry him on November 3rd and I said "yes!".
He has been such an anchor for me through all the trials and adjustments of being home. Even when we were missionaries he always was a great example and has such a strong testimony. On February 21, 2014 when we got married I felt so happy and blessed to start spending eternity with my best friend!
