This weekend Ethan and I had the priviledge of attending our friends' sealing: Chris and Jodie Bender. We also spent an evening with Grandma Thompson at her house. It was such a great evening hearing all her stories and life experiences. I learned about the perfect marriage of Grandma and Grandpa Thompson, who were sealed in the Salt Lake Temple by President Joseph Fielding Smith! Grandma has the cutest personality and it was so fun to be around her and all the energy she has.
We love you, Grandma!
Earlier this morning our good friend Chris Bender got sealed to his beautiful wife; Jodie Jensen (now Bender) for time and all eternity. Grandpa Reeves also sealed them and it was a special occasion especially for the new couple, but also for Ethan and I. We both thought about our wedding day and remembered the feelings we had at the temple. I'm excited for this new couple as they start their lives together.
At the end of the day, I'm grateful for families and for the Gospel. I'm so glad that I get to spend eternity with my best friend and the person I love the most! Ethan and I loved this weekend and look forward to more summer weddings to come. (Oh, and there will be a lot!)
