Love is in the air

anywho,
I'm so excited for all of our friends getting married this summer!
In the spirit of weddings, we (I) have been watching 'Say yes to the Dress' from TLC on Netflix
It's so fun to see the beautiful dresses
The talented consultants;
The not so talented;
and of course, the brides:
decided to undecided
last minute shoppers to planners a year in advanced
kind ones
means ones
sweet ones
green ones
psych! No green brides.
Well the point of this post was specifically to all brides.
(I guess also a refresher on the Golden Rule)

I understand that TLC is featuring Kleinfield: a high-end wedding dress store. But in no universe does that allow a bride, bridesmaid, mother, wedding planner, maid-of-honor or whoever you are to treat the consultants/workers rudely. Some of these girls cry over nothing!
My favorite episode so far is probably when a mother cried over her dress because it "wasn't the same color"! She's not even getting married
Now, I love my mom and also my dad for helping me pick out my wedding dress.
I remember that day almost as much as getting married to Ethan.
I told Ethan the other night that I never really believed in the moment when you just know that a specific dress is "the one". Except it really does exists.
So ladies,
take a breather, love the people who want to help you and love living in the moments.
You get one wedding but you get a lifetime of joy with your man.
Focus on what is important to you.
Focus on what is important to you.
What Ethan and I remember the most on the day where all anyone did was celebrate us;
was the 25 minutes we spent alone in the Salt Lake Temple thinking about
the rest of forever with each other.
Trust me, you already found the most important 'one' ...
the rest are all details ;)

p.s. Happy Cinco de Mayo. We celebrated with a film about how it all came to be. We missed out on the chips and salsa tho.
There's always next year!
Ole!

This could also apply to choosing spouses. Get the right one and then always love the one you choose. :)
